(CNN) -- EA Sports needs you on the court, on the course, on the field, and yes, even on the ice. It has four new sports games out that will keep you busier than Bo Jackson in the '80s.

'NBA Live 2005'

Don't start dribbling too soon, because "NBA Live 2005" is only the first game on our list. Basketball is more than a sport -- it's an art form. And "NBA Live" is all about self-expression. One feature called "Freestyle Air" allows new ways to take your game above the rim by controlling new types of dunks, alley-oops and jump shots in midair.

'FIFA Soccer 2005'

If the basketball court is a little too cramped, try expanding your horizons with "FIFA Soccer 2005." The game also boasts an improved control system, called "First Touch Control," to add a sense of realism, allowing greater freedom of movement during matches.

For example, you can trap or flick an incoming pass to gain an extra yard of space. Essentially, "First Touch" gives an advantage to players who can think quickly and act fast to outsmart the competition.

'NHL 2005'

Who are you calling a puck? You're on thin ice now, especially with "NHL 2005." What's hockey without a little rough stuff, right? And there's no better way to get that across than with the game's new personality-driven artificial intelligence addition that re-creates the playing styles and personalities of each member of the NHL.

In case the ice gets too tough for you, "NHL" also boasts a dynasty mode. You can take on the role of a team's general manager and manage every aspect of its operations, from setting ticket prices to calling up a player from the minors.

'Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005'

Fore! Fourth and last, but not least, comes "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005." It takes golf games a step further with an option called "Tiger Proofing." Basically, it's the flip side of a handicap. By earning special currency in competition, you can make a course so difficult even Tiger Woods would turn tail. Saving a "Tiger Proofed" course allows it to become available during regular game play.

You may be able to master these titles when playing against the computer, but it's a whole different ballgame when you're battling another person. Each game also offers the option of online play. An online "lobby" lets you interact with other gamers in North America. From there, you can chat, organize tournaments, download roster updates and play against each other.

These four sports titles are enough to break up any relationship. But if you really want to push your luck, several similar titles soon will hit the market -- "NCAA March Madness 2005," "ESPN College Hoops 2K5," "Gretzky NHL 2K5," "Vijay Singh Real Golf 2005" and "Sensible Soccer."
